Alstrom Point Elopements: For the Wild at Heart

So you think you’re ready for some off-roading?

Alstrom Point Elopements is not your average elopement backdrop — it’s raw, remote, and breathtaking. This is where desert cliffs meet the vast blue expanse of Lake Powell. If you’re up for a little dust, a lot of thrill, and once-in-a-lifetime views… you’re in the right place.

At Honey I Do, our Honey Elopes team is built for this kind of wild. We don’t flinch at bumpy roads, crazy weather, or pre-dawn call times. We live for it. Because adventure elopements like this one deserve a team that knows how to scout, shoot, and send it.

Getting to Alstrom Point: No Pavement, No Problem

Alstrom Point Elopements is located about 1.5 hours from Page, Arizona, near the Utah border. This off-grid overlook is only accessible with a true high-clearance 4WD vehicle — and no, your regular SUV or camper van won’t cut it.

You’ll need to rent from an off-road specific provider. Companies in Page specialize in vehicles built for this exact terrain. Trust us: don’t gamble on Google reviews and bring your own rental. Once you’re out there, there’s no cell service and no tow truck coming to save the day.

What Makes Alstrom Point Worth It

  • 360° views over Lake Powell that look like a movie set
  • Absolute privacy — you’ll rarely see another soul out there
  • Golden hour that glows for days, especially at sunset
  • True adventure — getting there is half the story
  • Epic cliffside photos that feel like the edge of the world

This location delivers dramatic landscapes, desert tones, and quiet intimacy — exactly what we look for when planning our most cinematic elopements.

When to Go: Seasons + Light

The best times to elope at Alstrom Point Elopements are spring (March–May) and fall (September–November). You’ll get mild temperatures (60–80°F), clear skies, and just enough warmth to enjoy the breeze off the lake.

Avoid summer if you’re not heatproof — it can hit 100°F+ and there’s little to no shade. Winter, while beautiful, brings the risk of snow or rain making the dirt roads impassable.

For photos, we always recommend golden hour. Sunset here casts deep shadows and lights up the cliffs in rich reds and golds — a dream for both videography and photography.

What to Bring (And What We Handle)

You bring: layers, water, comfy shoes with traction, snacks, and your love.
We bring: the gear, the game plan, a styling guide, backup plans, and a cooler full of post-ceremony drinks.

We’ll also help you secure permits, coordinate timing with your 4WD rental, and make sure you’re not stressing one bit. That’s what Honey Elopes is all about — elopements made easy, wild, and wonderful.

Bonus: Can You Camp at Alstrom Point?

Yes — and it’s incredible. For the boldest couples, we can even incorporate a camping or stargazing session into your elopement shoot. Just imagine saying your vows, popping some bubbly, and watching the sky turn violet and silver with stars. It’s an experience you’ll never forget.

Why Book With Honey Elopes?

We’ve done this before — many times. Our Honey Team is trained for these kinds of locations. We’ve got the gear, the grit, and the game plan to make this a seamless, breathtaking experience.

Whether you’re hiking with your dress in a backpack or pulling up in a Jeep, we’ll be there — ready to shoot, guide, and celebrate every step.
