From the very beginning, I worked closely with this beautiful couple to curate a theme that felt romantic, timeless, and true to their story. I sourced the gown – a dreamy, tulle maternity dress that flowed effortlessly in the desert breeze – and brought it to the shoot for her to wear. A Surprise Gender Reveal with Meaning

One of the sweetest parts of this shoot? The gender reveal cake.

I found a local Arizona bakery and coordinated the entire thing – the couple didn’t know the gender of their baby until we captured the moment mid-shoot. The cake was simple and elegant with “Baby” piped across the top… but the real reveal came when they cut inside to find vibrant blue cake! Paired with ultrasound prints, cozy baby booties, and the warm light of the desert, it was the kind of moment that stops time.
